Billed as the largest kite festival in North America, the Wildwoods International Kite Festival ran May 22-25, 2026 over Memorial Day weekend, celebrating 40 years. Events began Friday at noon with the kite sales tent, a Friday night social and a 9 p.m. illuminated night kite fly. Saturday and Sunday featured large inflatable kites, team flying and family games, and Monday brought the World Indoor Kite Exhibition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. The festival is free for spectators.
