Exhibition hall

The indoor building where judged non-livestock entries are displayed: baking, produce, needlework, photography, floral.

The exhibition hall is the indoor half of an agricultural fair, where entries that are not animals are displayed after judging: vegetables and fruit, jams and baked goods, needlework, woodworking, photography and floral design, each with a ribbon attached. It is also the coolest and quietest building on most fairgrounds, which matters in a New Jersey July. Fairs in this directory that list the crafts feature generally have a hall of this kind rather than a commercial craft market.

Also known as: exhibit hall, home arts building, 4-H building.
