A grandstand is the tiered seating that faces a fairground's main arena or track. At agricultural fairs it hosts the events that need an audience on one side and space on the other: horse shows, pulling contests, demolition derbies and concerts. Grandstand events can carry their own ticket. At Warren County Farmers' Fair, the main-arena demolition derbies were a separate ticket from fair admission.
