Skylands is the name used for New Jersey's northwestern region, the hilly and rural corner that holds most of the state's remaining large farmland. This directory uses seven regions, and Skylands is the one where the state's agricultural fairs are heaviest relative to population, including the New Jersey State Fair and Sussex County Farm & Horse Show in Augusta and the Warren County Farmers' Fair in Harmony Township. The other six regions are Gateway, Central Jersey, Delaware River, Shore, Greater Atlantic City and Southern Shore.
Also known as: Skylands Region, northwest New Jersey.
